Today was CIMA Conference..
Due to this conference.. some of my friend din get to back hometown on Friday cause need to attend this conference include me also...
Hm...
Because of this conference, we need to reach college before 7.30 in the morning
[What the**!!! Got to wake up early!!!]
We wait at the college hall and waited for the event to start...
The event actually start on 9am in the morning with arriving of the VIP... Then
with their speech...
[ Their speech is bored and make us felt sleepy]
Then they will be introduction to the CIMA Business Game..
Origami in Space Business Game: Aeroplane Sales..
This game is like a real life business scenario..
Is an organization who make origami and sell to his client...
There are several position we need to act in this game, that is...
CEO- Json
Finance Manager-Me
Sales Manager-Nicole
Engineer-Mei Jia
Factory Manager-Quan
Quality Control Manager-Wai Kit
Production Specialists-Ke Guin and Leong
There are only 3 round in this game... There are 26 group and each group have 8 members... Ke Guin, Mei Jia, Nicole, Me, Json, Leong, Quan and Wai Kit is in the same group and we named our group The Teens...
The game started with briefing of the client only have 10 minutes.. Our CEO Json and Engineer Mei Jia went to meet the client and learn how to do origami...Then followed by Planning and Manufacturing [30 minutes].. Here, CEO and Engineer teach us how to do the origami... The CEO and Sales Manager got to set the Sales target and told to the client..All of us got to make the origami.. After finish produce, the origami will be deliver by the Sales Manager Nicole and Quality Control Manager Wai Kit to the client...The Client will check the origami for full compliance to specifications... Lastly will pass to the Finance Manager that is me to calculate the Profit of the business and submit it to the client within 5 minutes...
The origami that been sold to the client is cost RM 40 mil.. The cost of making is RM 10 mil [ according to the sales target that have been set] and there have 25% of the Income tax... Got to calculate profit after tax..
The overall of the first round is 55 minutes...
In the first round,
we plan to make 40 origami and submit to the client...
But...
Something unexpected happen...
Within the time.. We can't finish all... Not even half...
We just get to make 19 origami..
And
13 origami was accepted and 6 was rejected...
Hm..
Luckily we din have a loss on profit..
And from here we get to know that we got to plan and set our target probably...

In the second around.. With same situation.. Got to make the same origami..
The time given was 45 minutes...
In this round, we set our sales target is 27 origami...
We get to make all 27 origami finish and left we alot of time
At last there was 25 origami was accepted
Only 2 was rejected
And we get a huge profit earning compare to the first round
In this round, we get to learn about team work and got to well plan before doing some thing
After the second round was lunch time
and does not forget our photo session

In this round.. We also got to make the same origami and time given was 45 minutes..
Some change have been make here.. CEO had been change to Wai Kit, Leong become the Quality Control Manager and Json become the productive Specialist
This time we set our sales target is 40 origami

Thing happen was still the same...
At the end we left 12 minutes before submitting to the client..
39 origami was accepted
Only 1 was rejected...
We have profit on the business
The total profit we earn from the 3 rounds is RM 15 billion..
